More about Enneagram

What our clients have to say

SRK Consulting (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd. (Engineers and Scientists) hired Ember to run a fire walk at our company Year End Function. Kerry ran a professional, well organised session, and the fire walk was a great success. All attending the function will agree that it was a very empowering experience – allowing individuals to overcome fears and mind-sets, re-establishing and strengthening belief in one’s self. The Firewalk experience was a fantastic team building experience, allowing cross disciple and management level interaction and support.

Kerry’s group work is very impactful. Through exploring the Enneagram together, I’ve gained profound insight into the personalities and emotional needs of my colleagues. This has fostered a workplace culture rooted in empathy, respect, and open communication. The environment feels lighter — no longer heavy with self-doubt or tension. We’re able to give and receive feedback more constructively because we’re coming from a place of shared understanding.

On a work note, I feel focused and energised by my sessions. I also find that I can concentrate and enjoy my work to a greater degree. I love the holistic nature of her sessions where every aspect of our lives comes into play and with a few adjustments or fine tuning, guided by Kerry, I can engage in quality time whether work or play, without feeling exhausted.

My time with Kerry has been nothing short of transformative. Kerry’s one-on-one kinesiology sessions have guided me through deep personal breakthroughs. This awareness has helped me reclaim my own identity and begin to heal in ways I never thought possible.

I’ve seen a significant shift in my mindset and overall outlook on life. With the tools she’s provided, I’ve not only learned to manage my anxiety, but to understand it, befriend it, and move through life with a renewed sense of clarity and confidence.

I take my mental and emotional wellbeing seriously, and I find my sessions with Kerry to be incredibly valuable on this journey of self-elevation. I’ve learned to appreciate who I am and where I’m going — and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

As an ad agency, we are always on the lookout for something interesting and different to add to our annual conference. We decided on a Firewalk as it was an opportunity to not only put our minds over matter, but to prove that encouragement can take a team places.

Kerry’s psychology background came to the fore in our preparation for the walk and she brought up some very valid thinking which got the team talking and we were able to tie the event back to the theme of our conference, which centred around brave thinking. A few people did not think they would be able to do the walk. However, Kerry got every one of us over in the end, some embarking on the journey across the coals several times.

Kerry, thank you for an amazing and unforgettable Firewalk. Many of us still have our keepsake piece of coal on our desk as a constant reminder of our feat.

Kerry van Huyssteen, Owner of Ember Connect, facilitated a fire walking experience for one of our Leadership Programs at The Unlimited. Her knowledge and skill in taking us through this amazing experience was by far the very best we have experienced to date and as a business we have hosted over 50 fire walks as part of one of our Leadership Programs. She was very professional in her approach. Her use of humour and story-telling along with her enthusiasm, energy and encouragement got all our people excited and enthusiastic about their experience as opposed to fearful and anxious. We all had an amazing experience and can’t wait to use Kerry again. Thank you to you and your husband Kerry, for making our time with you so memorable!

The Unlimited

Kerry has a truly calming and intuitive presence that makes you feel seen and understood from the moment you start working with her. She’s helped me navigate deep anxiety, particularly around fear and feeling out of control emotionally. With her support, I’ve learnt to acknowledge and honour my emotions and listen to my body in a way I never could before. Her work has had a lasting impact on how I relate to myself and manage my emotional wellbeing.

In a world where empowerment is key to personal happiness, taking responsibility in the world for one’s own happiness is the bedrock. Kerry has been instrumental in supporting our staff, helping them to grow and realise their autonomy. The impact of this on their own lives has been profound, and it has flowed into the workspace, breathing support for speaking up, acknowledging one’s value and influence within the team and taking accountability within the work environment.

I must thank you for all of the encouragement you gave us and the very good and professional atmosphere you created during the firewalking experience. My team enjoyed your kind and direct way of leading each and every person to confront his/her limits. The experience showed us the great power of the mind, the importance which personal conviction has in what you can do and achieve everything that you set for yourself.
